GRAPES: 100% Turbiana

TASTING NOTES: Aromas of citrus fruit, beeswax, and citronella, the palate is medium-full bodied and rich. The finish is marked by a subtle hint of green almond. Something to try if your looking for a textured white thats unoaked.

PAIRS WITH: Will work well with a caprese salad, sea bass or oriental food.

SERVE ME: Serve slightly chilled. Allow 1 to 2 hours to cool in the fridge. 

Ambra and Franco Tiraboschi farm 18 Hectares on the south end of lake garda and produce about 120K bottles per annum. Their philosophy is to use only the native Turbiana grape, which is closely akin to Verdicchio of the Marche. Ca’ Lojera comes from the local dialect for “house of the wolves”, a reference to the legend that Lake Garda’s pirates were protected by wolves and even made the ancient house their “lair”.
