2019 CHARDONNAY

TRY ME IF YOU LOVE: White Burgundy

ABV: 13.5%

GRAPES: 100% Chardonnay

TASTING NOTES: Balanced Chardonnay from California. The grapes are partly aged in old barrels, partly in amphora, so it's lean and layered. Lemony fresh fruit, some soft minerals, great acidity. The oak is subtle, and the texture is silky from partial malolactic fermentation.

PAIRS WITH: Works well with chicken, oily fish and seafood.

SERVE ME: Medium bodied white serve chilled. 

Lo-Fi only use neutral barrels, naturally occurring yeasts and minimal sulphite additions, so this is an honest expression of a new world Chardonnay.
