GRAPES: 100% Chardonnay

TASTING NOTES: Citrus zest, apricots, dash of tropical fruit, candied ginger, almonds, hints of beeswax, fresh butter. On the palate dry mouth-filling, satiny texture, medium bodied, fresh and mineral aftertaste, saline note, lingering finish.

PAIRS WITH: Fish, spaghetti vongole, raw fish, salmon, risotto with sea food, sea bass, fish and chips.

SERVE ME: Serve Chilled, pop it in the fridge for a couple of hours. 

Ômina Romana is a family-run winery founded by the Börner family in 2007. When they had to decide where to start their business, they settled on the area around Velletri, among the lush volcanic hills of the Castelli Romani overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea, about 40 km south-east of Rome.
