2021 FALERIO ORIS BIANCO
2021 FALERIO ORIS BIANCO
TRY ME IF YOU LOVE : Sauvignon Blanc
ABV: 13.0%
GRAPES: Pecorino, Passerina, Trebbiano
TASTING NOTES: A blend of three native grapes that is so easy to drink and great value for money. Apple-pulp and white pear follow the nose of white flowers. The wine fills the mouth but is also fresh and moreish.
PAIRS WITH: Try with light pasta dishes, grilled vegetables or fish.
SERVE ME: Served chilled. Allow 2 to 3 hours to cool in the fridge.
I would say that both Pecorino and Passerina sit nicely between a Sauvignon Blanc and an unoaked Chardonnay. This blend could work well as an alternative to either, maybe slightly more on the Sauvy B side.
The name Cui Cui is because the current owner's great grandfather worked for thee local railway company. The Vineyards lie among the rolling hills of Le Marche's Offida region where the proximity to the Adriatic Sea, combined with 300m of altitude create a unique micro-climate which ensures exceptional growing conditions.
