TASTING NOTES: Semilion is the bulk of the blend - with freshness and herbal notes. While a dash of Torrontes gives a hint of lychee and pineapple. Pithy, textural and fresh all the same time. With a pleasant juicy texture and a zip on the finish.

PAIRS WITH: Try with fresh fish or a salad

SERVE ME: Serve chilled. Pop it in the fridge for a couple of hours.

Ballena del Sur is a collaboration between Les Caves de Pyrene and Sebastian Zuccardi. Since taking over the reins here, Sebastian has switched focus to the cooler, high quality area of the Uco Valley in Mendoza, from where this wine is sourced. Ballena del Sur means Southern Whale, hence the picture of whales eye on the bottle!
