Tajinaste is a small family-owned winery located on the volcanic soils and lush slopes of Tenerife's Mount Teide in an area known as the Valle de la Orotava. Being on the north side of the island it's heavily influenced by the vientos alisios, or trade winds, which help moderate the climate of the islands. They run an up to date operation but are also keen to make wines that respect the culture of the islands and reflect the character and individuality of the local grape varieties.
