2022 TXAKOLI ROSADO

TRY ME IF YOU LOVE: Dry rose but want something a little different

ABV: 11.0%

GRAPES: Hondarrabi Zuri, Hondarrabi Beltza

TASTING NOTES: A very light rosé, retaining that green apples crunch but with some sharp strawberry in there too. Very bright and salty with biting acidity and a savoury saltiness as well as the classic Txakoli 'spritz' giving it life in the glass.

PAIRS WITH: Seafood, grilled fish or light salads would work best here.

SERVE ME: Drink this nice and cold, pop it in the fridge for a few hours.

The organic Bodegas Ameztoi is situated in the fishing village of Getaria, deep in the heart of the Basque country of northern Spain, overlooking the Bay of Biscay. The Ameztoi family have run the estate for seven generations utilising the indigenous Hondarrabi Zuri and Hondarrabi Beltza grapes to produce light, crisp wines bottled with residual carbon dioxide to give the wines their signature natural spritz.
