TASTING NOTES: Orange in colour with aromas of white flowers and citrus fruits. Vibrant and intense acidity, time on lees adds texture and structure, as well as fresh peachy notes.

PAIRS WITH: Pork, curry, casseroles, cheese

SERVE ME: Cold, pop it in the fridge for a couple of hours.

Mauricio is part of the Asociación de Productores de Vino Campesino de Chile, organised by natural wine advocate and sommelier Macarena Lladser. Their group of four all practice within the wine regions of the Secano Interior. They dry farm their organic land and mostly old ungrafted vines and are devoted to low intervention winemaking. Tinaja is the name of the 120-year-old amphorae vessels used for this wine.
