For about 15 years now, the Tetramythos Winery has been cultivating its vines in Diakopto of Aegialia, with the principles of organic farming. The vines are located at an altitude between 450 and 1000 meters, while the limestone soils give a very special character to their wines. Highlighting the unique microclimate of the area is the main goal, while the minimal, almost zero interventions during winemaking, enhance their uniqueness.
This Roditis, produced from 50-year old vines, was grown at 850m near the mountainous village of Aigialia in the Peloponnese. Fermented slowly by indigenous yeasts, the wine is then left to age on its lees for five months. The result is a stunning white that combines oxidative honey and nutty notes alongside crystal clear fruit flavours of peach and citrus.
