TASTING NOTES: Rich, deep amber colour, aromas of ripe golden plums, apricots, and peaches. A juicy wine and a great introduction to the world of Orange wine. Soft and velvety in the mouth but zingy with loads of personality in a bittersweet finish.

PAIRS WITH: Hard cheeses, spicy dishes, Asian cuisine

SERVE ME: Cold, pop it in the fridge for a couple of hours.

Martin and Anna Arndorfer are the producers of the Schlehe wine. They are a winemaking couple based in the Kamptal region of Austria. They are known for their commitment to organic farming practices, minimal intervention winemaking, and expressive wines showcasing the area's terroir. Schlehe is the name of the local blackthorn or sloe berry found in this part of Austria.
