TRY ME IF YOU LOVE: White wine but want to try an orange

ABV: 12.0%

GRAPES: Semillon

TASTING NOTES: Textured and delightfully sippable, this orange wine is incredibly accessible, immediately greeting your senses with aromas of fresh mandarin, ripe peach and apricot. I got a little hint of padron pepper as well when i tasted this that i loved!

PAIRS WITH: Roast pumpkin, roasted vegetables, fried chicken, smoked haddock or vegetable risotto.  

SERVE ME: Chilled, pop in the fridge for a couple of hours

Rook en Spieels is a collaboration project between two old boy winemakers in South Africa who are supposed to be retired. They run a negociant cellar where they buy fruit and juice from other growers to make some exceptionally fun low intervention wines.
