TASTING NOTES: Deep straw-yellow colour from extended ageing, with a nose of delicate florals and yellow stone fruits that gain complexity over time, and a rich, velvety palate that remains bright, mineral-driven, and sharply refreshing, finishing long with savoury notes.

PAIRS WITH: Pairs excellently with refined seafood, such as grilled sea bream, linguine alle vongole, or delicate raw fish like sushi and sashimi. It also complements soft cheeses and vegetable-based first courses.

Locals call Roberto Ghio a “wine philosopher” — the seventh generation of his family to craft wine in Gavi. His organic-certified vineyards sit in a unique corner of Piedmont, where soils have been shaped by centuries of exchange between inland and coast, and the vines are brushed by Ligurian sea breezes. The result is a Gavi with unmistakable character.
