GRAPES: 100% Pinot Grigio

TASTING NOTES: A lightly floral nose and an unusually rich, concentrated mouth, all pineapple and ripe melon with a whiff of herbs.

PAIRS WITH: Great as an aperitif on a warm day or best suited to light dishes such as salads and light fish dishes.

SERVE ME: Chilled. Pop it in the fridge for a couple of hours. 

Colterenzio is a cooperative of 300 winegrowers in Alto Adige with a philosophy of high quality produce but also working in harmony with nature. State of the art architecture and technology in the cellar means they operate sustainably and we are, to a great extent, energy self-sufficient. A photovoltaic power station now covers 55% of the energy requirements of the cellar, where most of our machinery and computers are used. Through solar panels and heat recovery systems, they meet 70% of their hot water requirements.

Vineyards at altitudes between 350 and 400 metres, sites especially suitable for Pinot Grigio. Soils are gravely and sandy with a high calcium carbonate content. The microclimate is cool with strong contrasts between day and night time temperatures.
