Antonio Camillo, a native of Tuscany, worked for 15 years as a cellar master at top estates before starting his own venture. He purchased two ancient, organic vineyards at the border of Lazio, totalling 5 hectares, and produces natural wines alongside a host of other young, innovative producers that are making a name for themselves in this part of the world.
The grapes for this Vermentino come from 20-year-old vineyards in Capalbio, with loamy soils and a strong sand component. After harvesting in September, vinification takes place in stainless steel before aging in concrete vats for 6 months and in bottle for 3.
