TASTING NOTES: A charming fruit-driven aroma profile, organically combining with a balanced earthy-spicy palate. Although the wine is native to a hot region, Sicily, it still maintains a great freshness with lively pleasant tannins.

PAIRS WITH: Great with rich meats, BBQ's and spice.

SERVE ME: Full bodied red so keep this one at room temperature. 

The Pianogrillo farm is located in the Iblei mountains in Sicily, and started out producing olive oil before expanding into wine production, using organic and biodynamic methods. On average the vines are planted at 500m above sea level, and benefit from cooling clay soils and breezy nights. The best kind! The wines are a fantastic expression of place from a winery with a huge focus on respecting the natural environment.
