GRAPES: Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Franc, Grolleau

TASTING NOTES: A pale straw colour with fine, persistent bubbles. Aromas of white orchard fruit, subtle florals, hazelnut and brioche lead into a crisp, vibrant palate of apple, pear and gentle citrus, finishing dry, balanced and effortlessly elegant.

PAIRS WITH: Great aperitif, works with most nibbles, seafood, smoked salmon

SERVE ME: Nice and cold, pop in the fridge for a couple of hours

Pierre and Catherine Breton both come from families who have been farmers and winemakers for four generations. Their philosophy stems from a love of the land - in 1990, they converted their entire property to organic and biodynamic practices - and their sustainable values are passed on through their children, Paul, France, and Baptiste, who continue the family tradition and showcase the Bourgueil, Chinon, Vouvray appellations, and the Loire region as a whole.
